يفتتح الدكتور صلاح المليجي رئيس قطاع الفنون التشكيلية وهبة سيف الدين مديرة مركز محمود مختار الثقافي معرض جديد لطبيب العيون الفنان فريد فاضل تحت عنوان " مصر التى أعرفها " .. وذلك يوم الاثنين الموافق 5/11/2012 فى تمام الساعة السابعة بقاعتى نهضة مصر وإيزيس بمركز محمود مختار الثقافى يصاحب الافتتاح حفل موسيقي غنائى لفرقة ترانزيستور.
يضم المعرض حوالى مائة لوحة موزعة بين القاعتين ، حيث تركز المجموعة الأولى بقاعة إيزيس على الهوية المصريـــة والتى صادرت هاجساً ملئ بعد صعود تيـارات سياسية وطائفية متعددة عقب ثورة 25 ينايـــر .

At a time where Egypt faces many challenges at all fronts, FaridFadel puts the Egyptian identity as a priority… “We need to remind ourselves of our Egyptian Culture as basis for building a new Egypt that takes real pride in its Ancient Pharaonic civilization,” he stresses “the competing political parties should always remember to keep Egypt and its rich culture at the heart of any reform or development program” he adds. He sees double or confused loyalty as hazardous to the Egyptian cause in the wake of the January Revolution that united all Egyptians and has given us real hope of a change to the better.
The exhibition will be opened by Prof. Dr. Salah El-Meligy, head of the fine arts sector, and will continue through Nov. 19, 2012, under the supervision of Mrs. HebaSeifEddin, director of the “MahmoudMokhtar” Cultural Center, open daily from 9 AM – 2PM and from 5 – 9 PM in the evening except for Fridays

أما المجوعة الثانيـة والتى تعرض بقاعة نهضـة مصـر فتمثل تطور أسلوب الفنـان عبر رحلته الفنيـة الطويلة داخل مصر وخارجها وتضم 40 لوحة بمثابة معرض استيعادى للفنان .
... والطبيب فريد فاضل فنان واقعى يلتزم بأصول الرسم والواقع الملموس أمامه ... يرسم فى بساطة، ويعرف كيف واين يضع لمساته القوية ....وهناك رابط فى أعماله بين الانسان والاشياء التى سما بها الى مرتبة العمل الفنى المتكامل لقد انتج لنا تلك المجموعة الممتازة من أشكال مختلفة المضامين جاءت معبرة عن الحس الشعبى الاصيل، ومعبرة فى الوقت نفسه عن معطيات العصر الحاضر سواء فى الاشكال أو الاساليب المعالجة .. كما ذكر وجدى حبشى فى جريدة وطنى - فبراير 1986.
يذكر أن الفنان فريد فاضل من موليد اسيوط سنة 1958 - التحق بمعهد الكونسيرفتوار عام 1965 وتتلمذ على يد الاستاذ (أدولف منشة ) ليعزف
الكمان بالإضافة إلى آلة البيانو والغناء .
- حاصل على بكالوريوس كلية الطب والجراحة من جامعة القاهرة 1981.
- ماجستير طب وجراحة العيون جامعة القاهرة 1987 .
- دكتوراه بعنوان ( الكيمياء المناعية لرقعة القرنية المرفوضة ) جامعة القاهرة 1998 .
الكمان بالإضافة إلى آلة البيانو والغناء .
- حاصل على بكالوريوس كلية الطب والجراحة من جامعة القاهرة 1981.
- ماجستير طب وجراحة العيون جامعة القاهرة 1987 .

A new collection of paintings representing Egypt by Ophthalmologist Artist FaridFadel will be on display at “Isis” and “NahdetMasr” galleries at the “MahmoudMokhtar Museum” from Nov 5-19, 2012.
Known for his naturalist style Fadel brings together 60 new paintings mostly in oil and watercolors that depict the essence of all that is Egyptian in the truest sense of the word; men enjoying their afternoon tea, girls visiting their relatives in a village and enjoying stories in the shadow of a tree, a temple guard sitting proudly at the foot of a colossal statue at Karnak, Fellukas and Dahabeyas sailing down the Nile, then a vision of the “Nile Bride” immerging from the water at Sunset.

He sees double or confused loyalty as hazardous to the Egyptian cause in the wake of the January Revolution that united all Egyptians and has given us real hope of a change to the better.In addition to the 60 new works on show at the “Isis” gallery, FaridFadel will be sharing his artistic journey at “NahdetMisr” gallery where he’s showing 40 examples of his works over the past 40 years in a retrospective exhibition that will also take Egypt as its main topic.
Egyptian portraits, of which Fadel is famous, will feature in both galleries in addition to a small section dedicated to the art of still life.
